Are you looking for a Vacation Bible School experience that emphasizes hymns, liturgy, and catechesis? We’re excited to unveil our new Hymn VBS, made with this desire in mind: Wake, Awake.
This new VBS program is based on the hymn “Wake, Awake for Night Is Flying” (LSB 516). Across five lessons, children will learn how Christ, our Savior, who once came to this world to save us, will come again and take all believers to live with Him forever in the new creation.
Wake, Awake retains the VBS activities children love—such as snacks, games, and crafts—but with a distinctly Lutheran approach. Through each day’s worship and lessons, children will learn more about God’s Word, Luther’s Small Catechism, Law and Gospel themes, and more.
