For generations, Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML) has encouraged women and congregations to collect “mites,” small offerings inspired by the widow’s gift in Mark 12:41–44. These voluntary gifts support mission grants and Gospel outreach efforts, continuing a tradition that has funded mission work around the world for decades.
